As a reminder, there will be no HS football game this week due to McDade forfeiting their game this Friday. Instead, the Somerville JH football will play Mcdade JH on Friday, November 1, at 6:00 p.m. at Yegua Stadium. Pre-game activities will include recognizing the cheer and football seniors and parents beginning at 5:40. The Yegua Band will perform their marching band routine during halftime of the JH game, and immediately after their halftime performance the band students and parents will be recognized. Our up-and-coming Yegua band members in the 6th grade will also join us for this game. Come out and support all of our current and future Yeguas this Friday!

Yegua Family, This week, our National Honor Society will kick off the “Yegua for a Cure fundraiser.” We will have a class competition to help support our cause. The class raising the most money between 10/21 and 10/31 will celebrate with a pizza party. All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society. We will also be decorating and displaying ribbons across campus to show our support. We hope you will join us in honoring our loved ones and fighting for a cure!
