As well, thank you also to all the those that joined in our Inaugural Cold Daddy Day! Today, our Yegua Dads and Moms joined in on post practice ice baths in our new Cold Daddy Ice Tub! We look forward to continuing this next year!

Thank you to all that came out and supported Yegua Football today at the first full contact practice / intrasquad scrimmage of the year! It wouldn’t have been such a success without you! We saw some good things and lots to work on and a few young standouts! All-in-all Yegua Football had a great first week of practice with a turnout of 57 kids!

Due to a mandatory insurance meeting for SISD Staff at 8am, tomorrow’s football practice will begin at 9:45am and will go until 11:45am. Please help spread the word.

ATTENTION HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL!!! Tomorrow is the day! The 2025 Football season kicks off tomorrow at 6:45am. Tomorrow is Day 1 for your Acclamation days. Make sure you are in the locker room at 6:15am so that you can be on the field for stretch at 6:45am. Practice will be finished by 8:45am. ALL HS FOOTBALL PLAYERS will be RECOVERING at the end of each practice this year. If you have not turned in your physical yet or gotten your equipment, be at gym early to receive it! #ForTheTRIBE

Attention ALL Incoming Freshman Football Players, today is your day to pick up equipment! Come by the gym right after SAC Camp or from 2-4 to receive your equipment! Practice Starts Monday at 6:45am! You must be there with your physical completed! Remember, in order to play a Spring or Winter sport you must play a Fall Sport (Football / Cross Country).

Monday and Tuesday's Youth Football Camp was a huge success! The TRIBE showed up and showed out! Thank you to all of our participants, parents, volunteers, and coaches for making this camp happen!

TRIBE, GET TO SAC CAMP!!! 1) SAC CAMP is back in action tomorrow (7/23) and Thursday (7/24) with Football and Volleyball SSI. 2) 25-26 Registration - July 28-29 - Registration for the 25/26 school year will be open from 10a - 6:30p in the Elementary Library. Your student athletes cannot begin practice unless they are enrolled in school. 3) PHYSICALS - Your student athletes cannot participate in practice until they have a valid physical on file. Attached is the physical form. 4) ACCLAMATION DAYS (Football Only) - The UIL requires that all football players have 5 acclamation days and 7 full contact practices before being allowed to complete against other schools (scrimmages included). Your athlete MUST attend all practices in order to compete in the 1st scrimmage against Hearne/Tomas. There are only 10 Days left until the first day of Volleyball Practice and 13 Days until Football Practice!
