This is a scam, and we encourage you to contact law enforcement should you receive any suspicious calls or emails like this. Somerville ISD is not doing any fundraising for our bond projects. Parents, we have received the decals from Riddell and they are WRONG! Tonight’s Helmets with Heroes event will become a 2 part event.
Tonight, your athlete will ONLY be receiving their “Somerville” and “Yeguas” decals. They will also receive an American flag and a TEMPORARY number to be placed on the front and back of their helmet!
We are working with Riddell to get the Headdresses and Numbers corrected. Once the correct Headdress and Number comes in, we will plan Part 2 of our Helmets with Heroes event.

Varsity football parents, I’m sorry that this post is just now being sent out. Our varsity helmet decals have been delayed at Riddell for over a week. Looking at FedEx tracking, we SHOULD get them today. We will plan on doing our Helmets with Heroes decal night TONIGHT at 6:45pm in the high school gym. I know this is short notice but please make arrangements to attend if you can!

As we go into Week 1 of the season, Yegua Football has partnered with Brand It Graphix to offer 4 different HATS for purchase to support your Yegua Football teams! These hats will be sold online through Friday, September 5th! They will be on campus for pick up on September 17th! You MUST select PICKUP as the delivery option. All hats are being sold for $30!

Tomorrow is the TRIBE’s first football scrimmage against the Hearne Eagles. The JV scrimmage will start at 6:00p and the varsity scrimmage will start at 7:30p. All players will be allowed to leave campus after school. However, all players playing in the JV scrimmage will report back at 5:00p in the locker room. All playing in the Varsity scrimmage will report back at 6:00p. Some athletes will get reps in both scrimmages.
Reminder if your son has not had the required acclamation days, he will NOT be allowed to participate in this scrimmage.
