Hello Yeguas! Last year, Somerville ISD became a District of Innovation, which allowed our school district greater flexibility in matters such as how we create our district academic calendars. This year, we focused on creating a calendar that maximized professional development opportunities for our staff at the beginning and end of each six weeks. This has allowed our staff to take full advantage of planning together and analyzing student data trends to more effectively meet the needs of our students. If interested, please review our 2025-2026 academic calendar proposals and complete the Google Form below to submit your feedback. We value your feedback and appreciate your partnership with us! https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeDBAOhZjLeW_LjOZqJxZyudrIQ51WcG5bniLqQ6KMDYQNEgg/viewform?usp=sharing

At Somerville High School, our commitment to providing a safe and supportive learning environment remains our top priority, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with you in this mission.
