Yegua Tennis had a successful day today in the Navasota JV Tennis Tournament! Colt/Wendy went 4-0 for a 1st place finish🥇 Viv/Dom went 1-3 for consolation champs🏅 Aubrey/Gabby went 1-1 for 3rd place finish🥉

Yegua Track hit the road early this morning and headed to Deweyville for the Area track meet. 9 Yeguas racked up 124 points to take home second place as a team at the Area Meet. All 9 athletes advanced to the Regional Meet next week! Barrett Howe won the district golf meet yesterday, shooting an 84. He will compete in the Regional meet later this month on Corpus Christi. Way to go, Yegua Golfer!

The following students passed the Food Manager Exam and have earned their Food Manager Certificate. Charles Morgan, Jena Foster, Arath Carrillo, Stephon Turner, Kalyjiah Simons, Destiny Vela, Keira Moore, BraKayla Minor, Blair Youngblood, Emily Strange, Evelyn Lambert, Jessica Ramirez The food manager certificate will allow students a competitive edge in the food service industry. At least one person per shift in the food service industry must have their food manager certification in Texas.

Please remember if your guest is not a SHS student, you must have the Prom Guest Request form completed and turned in before Friday, March 29th. You can pick this form up in the front office.

Somerville Seniors participated in the Stop The Bleed and Officer Training. BIG thanks to Nurse Eschete and Officers Brown and Wallingford for the training yesterday. Thank you to the Somerville Fire Department for providing breakfast for our Seniors.
