Cross Country District Meet Results Varsity girls individual district champion: Freshman Destiny Vela!! Destiny came in 1st place with an impressive 13:08 2-mile time. Sophomore Ramaya Carter finished in 4th place with a 2-mile time of 14:16. Congrats to both Destiny and Ramaya!!! Both have advanced to Regionals!  Varsity boys 5th place Sophomore Javen Henderson with a 3-mile time of 22:58 7th place Senior Jaret Pinkerton with a 3-mile time of 23:26 Congrats to both Javen & Jaret as they both also qualify for Regionals! Where have all these COOL Yeguas been hiding??? Yegua Throwback Spirit Day has been Fabulous!! SISD has the COOLEST kids and teachers!!!

Carving pumpkins today with help from Bra'Kayla, Blair, Keyla and Jenny! My students thought help from "the big kids" was the coolest part of the whole activity! Way to Go Mrs. Peterson's pumpkin carving class!!
