Good afternoon to you all. Reminder, Monday, October 12, is a student holiday. The elementary teachers will be contacting you throughout the week to schedule conferences with you for Monday, October 12. Teachers will be conducting these conferences by phone or Zoom. If you feel it is necessary to have a face to face meeting with your child's teacher, please contact the school at 979-596-1502, or email the teacher(s) directly. HS Football Game Friday, October 9th @ 7PM-PINK OUT tickets will be sold at the Somerville High School Front Office starting Wednesday, October 7th - 9th. Hours to buy tickets: 8AM to 2:30PM.

The Milano Junior High Football Game is canceled for tonight (9-24-20) and the High School Football Game with Milano has been canceled for Friday Night (9-25-20). We will make up the Milano HS Football Game at the end of the season and will honor tickets that have been purchased at this game OR we can give you a refund (must have ticket to present at the administration office).

Once again I want to say welcome back to you all. To all of our virtual students, I am hoping that one day soon we will all be walking side by side in the halls of Somerville Elementary. I am proud to be a part of the Somerville Elementary family as well as the Somerville community. I know that this has been an exciting yet difficult time for some. I know that the faculty and staff of Somerville Elementary is extremely proud to teach and work with the students and families of Somerville Elementary. Attention 6th Grade Parents and Students
Players Needed for Jr High Football!
Right now due to circumstances and with everything going on, we have 7 or 8 openings for 6th grade students to play Jr High football! If we have more than 8 wanting to play, we will have to create a tryout for them. If you are interested in your student athlete playing for the Yeguas Jr High Team, or have any questions regarding practice, or schedule, etc., please contact AD/HFC Cal Neatherlin at the High School 979-596-1534 ext 309 or by email at cneatherlin@somervilleisd.org. All athletes are required to get a physical before beginning practice. We will provide all equipment needed, except cleats.
