Attention All Yeguas! We are excited to announce that we will provide a fan bus for our football playoff game vs. D'Hanis this Friday! The bus will depart from the Somerville admin building at 4:00 on Friday and will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Students 13 years or younger must have an adult accompanying them, and all SISD students must complete a field trip permission form, which can obtained from the high school or elementary offices. The fan bus will also be available to the public who may wish to ride as well. Any adult riding the fan bus must bring their driver's license so that they can be checked in before boarding the bus, and it is recommended that you arrive no later than 3:45. Please be advised that all participants riding the bus are responsible for purchasing their ticket. If you would like to be guaranteed a spot on the fan bus, please call the SISD Administration Office at (979)596-2153 by noon on Friday. Go Yeguas! Tickets are online only using the link below. Hey Yeguas! We look forward to seeing everyone next Wednesday, November 20th, at 6:30 for our Yegua Facilities Planning Committee meeting! This meeting will immediately follow the Elementary/Intermediate PTO meeting in the cafeteria. Please help us spread the word, and all are welcome to attend!

Attention Yeguas! We will have an early release at 1:30 p.m. to make travel accommodations for all our students traveling to Luling for our football playoff game this Friday, November 15th. Mrs. Daly's 2nd block 7th-grade class earned an ice cream party for the most iReady lessons passed! Way to go 7th grade! Be sure to ask your kiddo about their progress on iReady lessons!

The stage is set!!! Somerville kicks off the 2024 State Playoffs by taking on D’Hanis Friday night, 11/15, at 7pm at Luling High School!! Somerville will be the home team in Black while D’Hanis will wear Gold. Tickets will be sold online through Hometown Ticketing. All tickets are $5. THSCA Passes as well as Senior Citizen Passes will be accepted. We will let everyone know if the game will be streamed as soon as we find out.

Our little Yeguas said our Varsity football team won’t be the only Champions! Congrats to our 1st/2nd grade and 5th/6th grade boys on their Super Bowl Championship today and our Varsity boys District Championship last night! Yegua Nation is full of Champions and as always, it’s a great time to be a Yegua!
